Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of Al Ain Farms group’s Integrated Management System (IMS) across all business units. Ensure compliance with applicable international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, etc.) and regulatory requirements by managing documentation, audits, and corporate QHSE initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:


1. IMS Development & Maintenance

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the corporate Integrated Management System (IMS) in alignment with QHSE policies and objectives.
  • Ensure all IMS documentation (manuals, policies, procedures, forms, and records) is up-to-date and controlled.

2. Audit Management

  • Plan, organize, and lead internal IMS audits in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Liaise with external certification bodies and regulatory authorities for successful completion of external audits and inspections.

3. SOP & Document Control

  • Standardize and manage the creation, review, and approval of corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain a robust document control system to ensure accessibility and traceability of all QHSE-related documents.

4. Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay updated on relevant national and international regulatory requirements affecting QHSE and ensure corporate compliance.
  • Coordinate periodic reviews and gap assessments.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Commercial, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, and other support functions to integrate IMS requirements.

6. Continual Improvement

  • Promote a culture of quality, health, safety, environmental, and food safety excellence.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate implementation of best practices.


Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Biological science such as Food Science, Environmental Science, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and/or ISO 22000 (mandatory).
  • Advanced knowledge of IMS principles and documentation practices.

Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in QHSE or IMS management, preferably in the food & beverage or manufacturing sector.
  • Hands-on experience in managing certifications and audits at corporate or multi-site level.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of ISO management systems and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication and training delivery skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and QHSE management software/tools.
