Job Description

  • Manage or/ oversee AAFG Humisoil and XLR8 project
  • Provide technical support in streamlining the production process of the Humisoil and XLR8 project.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Supporting AAFG sustainability projects / HSE / ZERO waste to landfilled initiatives
  • Assist in research, reporting, and implementation of sustainable agricultural solutions
  • Design and develop agricultural machinery and equipment.
  • Analyse and improve existing agricultural systems.
  • Evaluate soil and water quality and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Apply engineering principles to enhance irrigation and drainage systems.
  • Conduct research to develop new farming technologies and techniques.
  • Collaborate with farmers to address specific needs and challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and training to farmers and agricultural workers.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of agriculture, 6 years of experience in master's degree in agriculture and 3 years of experience in the field of agriculture.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and technologies.
  • Must have previous or valid MOCCAE License to Practice the profession of Agricultural Engineer
  • Must have a valid driving license
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibility across, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and rest of the emirates
  • Willingness to roll-up the sleeves and make their hands dirty
  • Ability to manage the project independently and work with HSE team & other stakeholders with in AAFG
  • Willingness to support other HSE initiatives, task, and responsibilities.
  • Speak English fluently and Arabic would be advantage.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design and simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
